All over the place, old M38s, M44s, M1s, M1 carbines, 1911s, Thompsons, etc. whether new or original WW2 stock are easily found. What bothers me is, why isn't anyone making reproductions of German hardware? Stuff I've always wanted include the MP-40, STG-44, FG-42, MG-42, and so on and so forth.

Am I the only one who'd like to see even a copy of this stuff made? And yeah, even though the 7.92x33 for the STG-44 is a very hard to find round, a repro STG could be chambered in 7.62x39. Is anyone making German replicas? Or will I have to shift my interests elsewhere... ?

Possible links are appreciated... :uhoh:

How about a nice Semi- only MG-42 in 8mm Mauser or .308?

Or perhaps a FULLY AUTOMATIC MG-34 in 8mm Mauser or .308?

This one actually uses a M16 lower to shoot fullauto, so you need a M16 in addition to this upper.

Both go for about $5000 each.
