No, it isn't because of fear of the coronabug. It won't quit raining plus we are are supposed to have annoyingly high winds through the rest of the week. I have five rifles sitting and waiting to be sighted in. A new gun and four scope swaps and I'll be good to go. It's March and I didn't expect much in the way of decent weather for shooting anyway but not because of wet. Normal Marches here are dry and windy but not this one. Come on Ma Nature and let up a little, I have serious shooting to do here.

At least it's fairly warm so I am going out in the shop and start a surprise project for a retired army sergeant. I'm making him a set of grips out of nice wood with a sergeant's emblem lapel pin inlet into each grip. for his 1911.

My new sabbatical from shooting is CORVID driven. I live in a city (one with a fair number of CORVID cases, sadly), so all the shooting that isn't a multi-hour drive away is indoors. Currently a no-go.

Autocorrect got me, but they missed the chance to give it that (much cooler) name.

Strange... Google started suggesting "coronavirus" in predictive text anytime I began a word with C O like a month ago. Fast learners they are.

Hate to hear you can't get to the range fellas. Some of us are lucky we can go out in the backyard, or we'd be in the same boat. (No pun intended ATLDave)

I'll quarantine myself to my backyard range :neener:. I feel for the people that don't have that option. Maybe now is a good time to take a break and get into reloading, if you don't already.

Just checked my club's web site and they are still open for shooting sports, ( skeet, trap, sporting clays, rifle, pistol, and archery ranges) but are suspending food service and the bar and asking folks to not congregate in the clubhouse. Not a big deal because food service is only occasional during events and the bar is hardly ever open. I usually go to the rifle or pistol range during the week and usually have the place to myself. Occasionally I may have to share the rifle range with someone else but it'll be no problem keeping at least 6 ft. away from each other. Plus; I've been getting caught up on some reloading for both myself and a buddy.

I just came home from the range I use an hour ago. It is all outdoors and for now will stay open, but closing earlier. They have a couple of guys in their early 30's who work from opening till 4pm and a couple of older retried guys come in at 4 until sundown when they close. Probably a good idea to give the older guys a break right now and not ask them to come in.

I am laying off the range for a while too. Mainly to conserve my ammo supplies. The ammo shelves are bare locally.
I will be practicing my archery instead.

Same here and we're developing a telework plan for work. I actually get my WiFi signal from my bench. Next week it could well be; send an Email, shoot a group, send an email, shoot a group......
