Non resident carrying in Alabama

I am a Florida resident with CWL and planning on taking a trip through Alabama. I searched online, but couldn't find what I am looking for.

Here is my question: If a person with a CWL carries in Alabama and has his/her CWL but no other photo ID, is that a criminal violation or is it a non-criminal violation?

In Florida and Mississippi it is a non-criminal violation punishable by a $25 fine, but I need to know the law in Alabama as well.

Are you saying you have no photo ID? Do you have a drivers license? If no how difficult would it be to get one? My wife doesn't drive so she doesn't have a drivers license but does have a DMV issued photo ID card.

There is no requirement in Alabama to have any identification to carry a firearm. You only need your permit if you are carrying concealed or in a vehicle. Either way, no need for a picture ID so don't worry about it.
