Chad,

There's always the "iffy" states like Pennsylvania whom may or may not honor an non-resident license from an out-of-stater. In those situations it's just best to avoid the police.

The website Handgunlaw has updated their overall reciprocity map to show states that only honor permits obtained from the holder's state of residence.

Went to the site and got this

Maybe i wasn't clear earlier, it's pretty simple. Your permit is only valid in Colorado if it's a Colorado permit and you are resident of Colorado, or if it's a permit from a reciprocity state and you are a resident of that state.

I visited packing.org today, and the information for Colorado is out of date.

I have to tell you, I get two things from this:

1) a real headache when planning vacations

2) even greater contempt for Democrats

re: 2 - for those folks who argue either that Colorado is being "California", or that Democrats aren't always gun banners, I say this was a home grown infringement, and if you're surprised by where it came from, you shouldn't be.

You're right

This law is blatantly unconstitutional. The question is whether or not anyone will step forward and sue, and believe me, right now there's a lot of people that have standing due to losing carry reciprocity there all of the sudden.
