Norinco SKS Value?

It reduced my horrible 12lb gritty trigger down to a serviceable 6 lbs where I could actually get SKS accuracy out of it.

Sorry for not clarifying earlier.

You can read more about the SKS trigger here.

AWESOME!! I was expecting to have to spend like $60+ to do anything to the trigger pull! Looks like I'll keep doing my homework for now and head to Cabelas this weekend most likely. Whatever they don't have there (or if it's overpriced) I'll order it here on the interweb.

Shopping list:
1. Synthetic stock - ATI or Butler Creek?
2. Scope & mount - unsure of brand. DC is nice but too pricey.
3. Bipod that mounts to bayonet lug? Still unsure.
4. Wolff spring kit.
5. Broken shell extractor just in case.
6. Muzzle break? (do they really help accuracy any?)
7. Lots of ammo.
8. Something shiny I don't need (lets be realistic.. it's a big store!)

Am I missing anything?

Thanks for all the help so far guys! Loving this site!!

Ok, I ended up getting the ATI Draganov style stock, a scope & mount labeled "Keng's Firearms Specialty, Inc" on the box and NcStar 4x20 on the scope, and the ATI bipod. Still going to have to order the spring kit, shell extractor, maybe a muzzle break, maybe a recoil dampener and safer firing pin (forgot what it's called), and ammo.

In other news, they had a sale where you get $30 off any purchase $150 or more at the Cabelas in Dundee, MI that lasts until the 15th if anybody is interested.

Just finished! Everything is put together now, the receiver cover scope mount had to be filed to fit and I made sure it fits VERY tightly, like pound the pin in tight, because I've heard they loosen up a bit after being fired. Also, the little pin that holds the hand guard on is a nightmare to remove. Had to pound the snot out of it, then putting it back in it bent after being about 3/4 of the way in

Anywho, it's all done now and I can get some pics up pretty soon if anybody would like to see :)

Thanks again for the help guys!

Here are some pics of the SKS and my Mosin M44. No idea why the SKS looks rusted in the second picture, it's just fine in person. Hopefully my camera doesn't see into the future...
