North American Arms Top Break Here

Not sure if feasable, but a break open NAA in .327 magnum would be IMO worth $500.

It would have to be a lot bigger than the current minis to handle the huge pressure associated with the .327 magnum. And recoil would be stout since by design it would weigh less than an SP 101.

But this would be a way to get good performance out of a true pocket pistol.

just to put it out there, NIB I paid $680 for my Taylors .45 5" Scho.

I agree with surefire that a .327 top-break would be worth $500

I want this .22, but it's really hard to justify that much when I can find a few Beretta Laramie's and other Taylors for only $200 more.

I REALLY hope this one makes it into full production, or I somehow fill my more pressing gun needs and somehow have the scratch for this one. I like my hinge guns. ^^

Edit: Mentally weighing what I'm willing to buy, I'd stretch to $350 (maybe a touch more if I can get her to look at something she really wants that costs more) if the wife wasn't right over my shoulder, I'd hope for the $300's. Wife has her wants and that means she gets half the gun money for her own shooting now, and she has far fewer than I .

I think NAA is selling everything they can crank out in .22lr/mag, I'd be amazed if they expanded their caliber lineup anytime soon. On the other hand, the folks at NAA seem to like shooting, so who knows?

I'm also in the "too pricey" camp on the top-break model ... let's see what MSRP vs real-world-price ends up being, I surely want one, just can't justify the cost and can't figure out why the only revolvers that amuse me are little bitty things.

I think we are getting a little worked up over msrp. I don't think these will list for this after a couple months of production.
