While looking around for some 150 gr bullets for my Garand I ran into North East Target, They have unbranded bulk bullets for pretty good prices. Has anybody here bought from them? Any thoughts? I don't expect stellar accuracy but at least reasonable quality.

I have been using Hornady 150 Interlocks and getting 2" - 2 1/2" from the bench which is about the best my rifle will do. With this particular rifle, I petty much shoot from field positions at a 200 yard 12" gong just for fun. I can find the Hornadys but they're $100+ per 1,000 more and I'm trying to save a few bucks. I know one may not get what they pay for but you sure don't get what you don't pay for.

The North East bullets are $300/1,000 shipped and the Hornadys $400/1,000 plus shipping. Any comments/reviews are appreciated.

You might want to look at Speer 165 Hot Core or Premium Hunting Bullets SPBT. I've found their groups improve greatly over 150 grn. and prices are a lot cheaper.

I’ve bought several different kinds of bullets from them in the last few years. They are a straight up outfit, prices always good and the products are good. I highly recommend them!
