My old Speer #9 manual says 50-54gr.s IMR 4831 for 150 gr. Speer spritzer bullets, if that helps.
(Sorry, I assumed you were asking about.270 Winchester.)
I have Nosler Reloading Manual #1 with a 150 grain Partition and it lists a load for IMR 4831 as 51 grains @ 2700 fps to a max load of 55 grains at 2904 fps. I have looked many times at the current Nosler Load Data online and their current loads have been the same as Manual #1 when the same powder is listed. Note that the current Nosler Load Data also shows a load for H 4831 to be the same load with a starting load of H 4831 at 51 grains and a max load of 55 grains.
Thanks fellas, I loaded IMR 4831 53.5, 54.0, and 54.5gr for the NP 150gr. My Rem 700 shoots the 150 BT 0.75MOA at 53.5grains. Hopefully it performs with the NPs.
In my Rem 700, COAL touching lands is 3.504". I backed off 0.020" to 3.484". They are seated out way more compared to the 150 gr BT which shoot 3.405".
