I never got to say my 2 cents to Nosler & never will.

I guess I'm a tad confused. You called their tech dept to give them your two cents about not offering .310''-.311'' bullets? Were you gonna give them free marketing advice or just chew them a new rectal orifice?

You guys on this forum never give up the sarcasm do you..............
I wanted to ask them to make 310 bullets & publish reloading data.

I'm sorry, Howard that you've had a rough reception here. Some of the sarcasm and more pointed comments have been a bit tougher than necessary, probably.

But, I'll admit, this is the first time I understood why you were even calling them to begin with. If you took a moment to write a little bit more clearly and explain your issue in greater detail, you'd probably get less sarcasm and goofing.

I'm still very surprised at the reception you received. A simple, "I'm sorry, we don't make 0.311" diameter bullets and don't have any plans to," would probably have been a much more professional answer.

In the meantime, here is a list of .311"-.312" bullets available from lots of manufacturers: http://www.midwayusa.com/browse/Bro...1&categoryString=9315***652***19785***9016***

Good luck!

Thanks Sam
I have almost every book made on reloading & buy most of my bullets from Midway.
I have been reloading about 37/38 years.
I just wanted to try to get Nosler in the fold as they are about the only outfit without
data for 7.62 x 39 & M-i carbine.
No luck..............
catch you later....................

I called Nosler tech support about two weeks ago to get some info. My question was "what is the test barrel accuracy of the 60gr Nosler Partition .224 bullet"? The tech was somewhat polite but impatient and said he didn't have the info I requested and didn't offer to find out. I can't believe Nosler doesn't know this info on the bullet design that founded their company.

If I was told it was proprietary info I could accept that answer. But, I have been given that type of info on other bullet designs from their competitors and I am sure Nosler has the answer to my question.

I just won't bother to call them again and I will use other companies products where possible..

DBR - it may have been that this tech was in the middle of his regular duties and, like a lot of us, doesn't have the ability to store all that info in their head.
Catching him in the middle of something else that was under some kind of time constraint might also have caused that response.
Just a guess - - -

"OR--you could be somewhat resourceful yourself and just look online---you obviously have a computer with internet access. "

And then find some faulty data (the internet is loaded with it), and blow yourself up.

It appears that the poor attitudes are every where today. It is the result of our nation being slowly destroyed by progressives. The cost of business today drives customer service to be sometimes outsourced and short handed. Trying to deal with the public is a very difficult job. You know what you want but so often you do not communicate well enough for the hearer to undewrstand what you are seeking. If you had to play that guessing came for 8 hours a day you too would be a bit frustrated and short. To not call Nosler back and explain what happened is not being fair to them and you are part of the problem. Communcation is necessary for any changes to be made.

@gaffer
When I had a problem with my PC--I used to call customer service.
I don't anymore because I have a hard time understanding the Indian guy.
I don't care anymore--I'm retired 11 years--but I fell sorry for people still working in this
country b/cause many of their jobs will be sent to other countries.
Well they got their CHANGE.
Good Luck//////////////////////////////////
