Are the Nosler shots in 224 cal 55 grain the same as the Midway Dogtown bullets and the Midsouth Varmint Nightmare extreme?

What in tarnation is a shot? If you mean bullet, then say so and be more specific which bullet you're talking about.

"Shots: are a bullet made for the Austrailian market. I believe they are a favorite of kangoroo hunters.

Sure didn't. But I do know I'm not down under.

Why would Hornady market a bullet for Australia? I thought they decided to go gun free.

Nosler manufactures a standard 55 grain bullet in 224 caliber wich is exported to Australia. They use to sell the overuns through their store but have not done this lately. I read somehwere they were selling them as bulk bullets through other retailers. The Midway Dogtown bullets and the Midsouth Varmint Nightmare Exterme might be these bullets are now being marketed.

If you get them the 'roo shooters swear by them. They use them in their thousands and they are legislated as such that they have to head shoot, nothing else and up to big ranges mostly at night.

Not really sport, culling for meat and hides and pest control. Those blokes are incredibly good shots though and they won't shoot rubbish bullets.

DANG when I first read this thread title I thought Nosler had branched out into the alcohol refining business. I was hoping that they would give a sample away for buying bullets.:banghead: Can't blame me for trying.:D
