I am eager to get my hands on a KC to take a look at because I really like the smaller frame revolvers, but in the meantime my SP101 with the 4" barrel and adjustable sights fills this role very nicely. It is easily one of my most accurate handguns with the good sights and long sight radius. It wouldn't be my first choice for CC due to the weight, but in a OWB pancake holster it is quite concealable despite the additional length.
As has been mentioned, the SP trigger can be made pretty decent with some springs, shims, and some polishing of the hammer strut and return spring plunger. It will never be a crisp short throw S&W K-frame trigger, but once cleaned up it is good enough that I can't blame it for my bad groups...
