I...thought... I wanted a C2 Taser but further reading makes me wonder if the power of stun guns outdisables the darts of the Taser.

And, are the really powerful stun guns as small as the C2.

You need to understand that "stun guns" just cause pain as opposed to seizue.

Stun guns are virtually worthless. They cause a relatively minor amount of pain (meaning nothing even close to incapacitating) and require that you be right on someone to use, which is bad since as mentioned, they are in no way incapacitating. I know they sound scary and have big number attached to them, but trust me, they are worthless.

They're manufactured with the confetti in them and you can't get the cartridges without it.

And yes, they require activation (along with identifying info ) with Taser Intl before they function.

Tasers incapacitate through interfering with the CNS. Stun guns do not. Tasers are extremely effective incapacitating agents, and all that crap on the movies about "fighting through the pain" is fiction because of how tasers work.
