Now is the time for S&W Shield

A few years ago, I thought I got a pretty good deal on my S&W Shield9 from Quantico Tactical when I paid $299 + shipping. In the current market, the Shield in 9 and 40 are selling for about the same price, but S&W is offering a $75 rebate.

Palmetto State Armory has the Shield 40 on sale for $280 and the Shield 45 on sale for $299. I couldn't pass up the deal and bought a Shield 45 for $299 + $17 shipping. With the rebate, it will be less than $250 for a brand new Shield 45.

If you're on the edge, I recommend taking the plunge now and take advantage of the rebate.

I purchased a Shield 9 from sportsman outdoor superstore. $245 with the rebate.

So for the normal price of the pistol, I got the Shield, an alien gear 3.0 cloak tuck holster, and covered the transfer fee.

I'm very pleased. And the AG cloak tuck/Shield combo is great imho.

My brother had a shield in 9mm. I told him about the deals palmetto State had on them.
He had the 9mm, so did he get the 40 or the 45? Nope. Another 9. I asked why and he told me so he could have one for each front pocket

Yep. My buddy at work texted me a screencap of the sale page at the gun showroom we go to, then left work early and bought one.

I probably won't, as I have a PF9 that just plain works for me, and I just picked up a Taurus TCP that seems to as well. But they're tempting..

And you’ll end up with one of the better conceal carry pistols on the market – I’ve been very pleased with my M&P 40 Shield.

I handled a Shield when I was looking at small single stacked 9's for carry. I ended up getting a LC9s because I liked the trigger more and it was smaller overall, and I've been very pleased with it.

But we've got LGS's here that are selling the Shield for $299 with the $75 rebate. For $225 I might pick one up just to have one. It is kind of hard to resist at that price.
