A new brief in the Heller case just came in and here is a quote from it.

"Petitioners implicitly claim that a typical citizen
of the District who can pass a criminal records and
mental records background check (such as the National
Instant Check System) is at serious risk of
committing murder. It is hard to imagine how such a
population could be considered fit for home rule."

Well it's nice to know that 99% of American's are in serious risk of committing murder!

I bet it must be safer in the jails...
 
I wonder how each of the SCOTUS judges will feel about being considered "at serious risk of committing murder"

A career felon I once knew (spent most of his life in prison) said the that the Real World is a crazier place than prison. I couldn't say, never having been incarcerated, but he surely had reason to whereof he spoke.
