One interesting point is that liberals say someone shouldn't be able to own a gun until they are 21 years old because the brain isn't fully developed and they aren't mature enough yet but on the other hand will say an 11 year old is mature enough to make a permanent decision to take life-altering sex change drugs (but that's a topic for another forum).

Some. Some of the liberals.

As a whole, it doesn't seem younger generations mature as quickly as previous generations have. Seems it's more a social issue than psychological though... a lot of kids don't need to grow up as fast as kids 40-50-60 years ago did, getting jobs at an early age... So they don't. If this is where Florida decides to set the bar, hopefully they do the same thing for voting, driving, tattoos, college, and everything else 18 year olds shouldn't be deciding for themselves.

And yet, one can be sent off to die for one's country up to 4 years before that and vote 3 years prior.

Loophole, I was drinking whiskey on the Army dime on an Air Force base in a country that ends in stan where alcohol was illegal. The irony was not lost on me. Nor anyone in my squad.

My only issue with this lawsuit is why? This is a small fry. NRA is under serious trouble from the NY AG and their own members. I think they should have gone after something bigger that that would appease to more members, not just the 18-21 year old crowd. Besides, the 21 year old drinking age has upheld in court for awhile. While not a *right* like the 2A is, adult maturity begins at different ages in different industries. Join military at 17 with a parent signature, drink at 21, rent a car at 25 etc.

Too much irrelevant chatter that is off topic.
