With the Trump win, I am more positive about the RKBA at the national level. however, My state of Oregon elected a very anti 2A governor, Kate Brown. I think we are in for some challenges at the state level.

I want to support efforts to battle the antis, but I'm interested in other people's about about supporting either the nra or the Oregon specific Oregon Firearms Federation.

Thoughts?

I think one place to look is at NRA spends in your state. They tend not to put too much effort into stopping anti-gun legislation here in Washington, probably deeming it a lost cause due to the large liberal voting blocks in King and Pierce counties.

If they've got a similar history in Oregon, I'd donate to your local organization instead, since they're actually going to support you directly.

My advice, having lived in Portland for 25 years before escaping to Texas, is to save your money and move. The legal pot isn't helping the critical thinking skills of the Liberals at all. Look to your south and that's what is coming your way. I hate to say it but there's NOTHING you or any organization can do.

Thanks papaairbear, I'm a member of OFF, and kinda forgot about ofef. I don't live near a Fred Meyer (and never been to one).

Yeah Cannibul, I've been to Portland and the west side of the state. I know what we're up against. I live a wonderful life in Wallowa county. It's my favorite place on earth, and I'm not giving it up without a fight.
