Ian Scott and Dave Jenkins of RPD, LLC are holding an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor Workshop on July 23-25 at the Dansville Fish and Game club. This workshop will teach you the necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Attitude you need to effectively train new shooters in the handgun sports.

Friday will be from 6-9pm, Saturday from 8am to 6pm, and Sunday will be from 8am to 5pm.

Oftentimes, an NRA-Certified Pistol Instructor is the first point of contact for a new shooter looking to learn about the shooting sports. That is an awesome responsibility to have. A good instructor will have a good approach to training, and possess a desire to help the new student succeed.

Dave and Ian are certified NRA Training Counselors. This means they can teach new instructors to carry on the NRA tradition of providing safe gun-handling skills and education to the public. Dave and Ian's instructional methods have been used to create well-rounded students and instructors for other subjects and organizations.

Included in this workshop is the Basic Instructor Training Component, or BIT. If you are new to the NRA instructional program, or have not added a discipline or taught a class within the last year, you MUST attend the BIT portion in order to attend the Pistol Instructor module over the weekend. If you already have the BIT, then contact us for details.

The cost for the Workshop is only 200.00. If you are looking to give back to the sport, this is one of the best ways to do it!

You can visit the website at: http://www.safeinrochester.com/courses.php?id=62

Or call us at 585-406-6758 for details or questions.

See you there!!

Dave
