Sharpdog--You have been magnifcent throughout this thread. You've rebutted those trying to buffalo people into abandoning the NRA and reduced them to sputtering. Their goal is not to examine facts and and weigh their relative importance in the struggle to protect the 2nd amendment.

Ditto Sharp Dog. I knew when I saw the title to the thread and any part of the NRA taking a hit, removed torn down etc, the true Political opponents would be cheering like crazy. Not hard to figure this out. You do not have to turn on CNN to figure out what Party they represent, same here. They say they hate, Wayne and crew, but actually they hate the NRA. WLP, NRA TV, anything from the NRA, Do you ever see them praising the NRA for any of the great things they do? Safety education, youth shooting, and on and on. Lol, of course not. They only come out for one reason. And that is to bring he National Rifle Association Down. Destroy it. Use Wayne and Crew as fodder or ammo to kill it.
When the NRA TV was taken down, who scored points? Which Political side scored points? Lol, let them bash the NRA over and over on this forum. That is fine. And one day all us might just wake up to find this forum does not even exist any longer. Why, because we will have lost not only the NRA, the Fighting fortress for 2nd amendment rights, but we have lost all our 2nd amendment rights as well. If the NRA goes down, so do our rights, and we have lost to a Political Party that was out to destroy every thing we believe in, have fought for.
We have to face it. The NRA TV coming down was a loss. They won that battle. And they are fighting to take it all down. And they do a great job at it. That you must admit. And they even do it from "Within"
The Trojan Horse tactic is one of the oldest in the books of modern day Warfare. We are seeing it right here.

The difference between the NRA and the myriad gun ban/control groups is quite distinct, EveryTown, MomsDemand, Giffords, &c are all funded by multi-millionaires. The NRA is funded by us peons.

NRA TV was, at best a waste of money. It was preaching to the choir.
At worst it was actively playing into the hands of our opponents by giving them ammunition to frame the NRA as a mouthpiece of the alt-right.
If eliminating it was a big win for the antis it was no worse than the series of little wins it was giving them every day. Better to rip the bandage off and get it over with.

The thread was about TV but has turned into another generic/political NRA thread Thus I’m changing the channel as we all get the polar opinions by now.
I suggest future threads have something new and informative. Not the same old from either viewpoint.
