Ok, here's the deal. As far as I know he is a KC-135 pilot in the Utah Air National Guard. (that's where he does most his shooting right, in Utah?) So that would be the 151st Air Refueling Wing. All US Air Force (active, guard, and reserve) aircrew go through a SERE course, more accurately called CST (Combat Survival Training). Academy cadets do a version at the Academy in Colorado, everyone else does it in Fairchild. It is a 19 day course (when you include the 2 day Parachute training portion (or at least was when I went through 3 years ago) . He did NOT instruct it.

Those who are saying "he has never been in combat", well, you are right. As a tanker pilot he wouldn't be the one on the ground engaging in combat directly. That isn't his job. That doesn't take away what he does.

How does he come across that, the exact survival vests I have on my plane and I would imagine would be carried on the 135 as well? Let me know if you can find those commercially.

I'm sure I'm not the first guy on teh internets to Google that unit based on that theory, there is a LTC on their website that looks vaguely like nutnfancy. The picture of the LTC is also marked as being in Chile in Mar 2010, which was around when nutnfancy posted a video that mentioned he was on deployment. His video could have been in Chile, there wasn't much in the background to judge off of.

Course there's no telling if they're the same person, so who knows.

If you don't like nutnfancy, don't watch him. Why are so many people complaining his youtube channel exists and that comments aren't approved on it? You're taking the time to read through his comments, on top of the sheer amount of time that's required to make it through his videos?

PAGES of people talking about one guy who posts videos? Enough, already. If someone want to point out someone with known, verifiable bona fides who creates free videos, let's do that. This one's done.
