I adore that concept with the outer tube the registered part, and the baffles separated by a split sleeve (see video, I can't explain it). Super easy to clean, the serialized part will practically never wear out, and potentially the same tube can host multiple caliber baffle sets.
 
An hour long???
Even Lynn Thompson would say, "Too long, won't watch."

To be more on topic:
I wish he would release a concise, edited version. I do want to watch the pertinent parts about the company and stuff. I don't want to hear him yak about the blonde and him measuring against his buddies.

I laughed through much of those two videos, but by the end, it looked like the guys at Silencerco were getting a little worn out with the Nutnfancy guys. Spending a day with Nutnfancy would be emotionally exhausting.

Yea, but ya gotta admit that you wouldn't have watched both of those videos all the way thru if it weren't for nutnfancy!!

The guy knows how to make a flick. One of the few guys that I can't just skip over. Always something good.

Now to figure out howto thread the barrel on my .22 Bersa.. :cool:

I can, just because he ANNOYS THE SNOT OUT OF ME!!! But I do find myself referring to some of his vids occasionally for a laugh.
 
I find his videos amusing and interesting. His only drawback is his slangy manner of speech that makes him sound like a 19 year-old. It just seems odd to hear a 40 ish guy saying "hey dude" and "awesome!" all the time. However, he is a refreshing althernative to the corrupt gun magazines and cable TV shooting shows also run by the corrupt gun magazines.
 
So this nutnfancy clown has a hobby he enjoys, and people like looking at gear. So I avoid making disparaging comments about the fellow.

But since we're here talking about him, let me say that I think he has a mental problem. Maybe ADD, maybe Asberger's Syndrome, but the dude babbles and yammers, and likes to pretend that he's a Tactical Force to be Reckoned With. A special adviser to our Armed Forces.

His great breakthrough came when one of his acquaintances took pity on him and said, "Dude, you need to focus. Print out a sheet of paper, work down a list, like 'ergonomics,' 'function,' etc." And to his credit he did take that advice, but being a total (deleted-Sam) he puts the sheet on camera so we can all see it, and then he ignores it and just babbles away regardless.

Life is way too short to waste listening to that little pissant pretend to be an "expert." On the other hand, hickok45 is my kind of guy. He knows what he's talking about and he's a damn good shot.

I think Nutnfancy has some interesting videos and gets an 'A' for effort, but I wish he would be a little less verbose. He could condense most of his videos in to 1/5th the length if he stayed on topic and didn't repeat himself so much. He should just type up a one-page report with paragraphs broken up into the headings he wants to cover. That way he can just read it and not be on camera hesitating and trying to remember what he wanted to say. If he just streamlined the process, I'd be able to watch a lot more of his videos.
 
Wow. hickok45 is great! I couldn't believe it! Not appropriate for the highroad, but he does zombie in a very creative way!

I agree; Hickok45 does the same thing, in a more entertaining manner, only without the delusions of grandeur and annoying mannerisms.

It's interesting how guns have the same effect on hickock's microphone as they would on my ear. The sound dims temporarily... and I just never would have expected that. Thought that was all in the brain!
 
He can be a skosh annoying at times, but his videos were very informative and detailed for the product. The "Sparrow" looks like a great rim-fire suppressor. I really dig the fact the tube isn't threaded so there is very little chance of ever damaging that critical serialized part.

Exactly. People who use tactical mall ninja phrases like "civilian sheepdog" to refer to CHL holders generally are males in their 40s who haven't had any sexual contact with a human female in the last two decades.

You don't have to do a better job to know that this guy is annoying. I have watched two or three of his videos, and came away feeling like they took 30 minutes to tell me what could have been said in about 2:15, half of which could be found using a search engine. There is no reason to spend 10 minutes reviewing a product you haven't even shot yet. I am going to review my XDM when I get 5,000 rounds through it (it's at about 3600 right now, one year later), a time when I feel my impressions will actually mean something. If I want the opinion of a gun from someone with no real experience with it, I'll ask the guy behind the gun counter.

If you want a good product review by someone who knows what they're doing, and shoots well with it, check out kickedintheballs2000 and hickock45.
 
You know, he seems like a decent guy. He may even be on THR.

I posted these links because I thought it was interesting to see testing and internals of a sound suppressor that is considered by many to be top of the line. I did not post them to see many comments that are off-topic, stupid or downright disrespectful. Thanks guys.
 
Don't watch Nutnfancy's video's if you don't like them. I enjoy watching them. If your so good at gear reviews then start your own channel on youtube. Hickok45 is awesome but he's essentially just plinking in his backyard. I'd much rather see some gun's put to the test in the desert. I also like to see all the backpacking gear in use. Nutnfancy has some cool backpacking trips on his channel also. He's not just strictly guns.

Creative insult but I'd wager that I'm not the only one who sees a difference between someone who just happens to have a CHL and someone who considers himself a civilian sheepdog.

Back to the topic...anyone used a Silencerco can? I'm getting the itch for one more and more.
 
I like watching his videos... they are high production value, he puts a lot of time into editing, has a large selection of weapons in the videos etc etc.

Put simple, there is nobody else doing what he does on the same scale. Sure there are others but not at that scale on youtube.
