I read that the NY AG sent a letter out to many advertisers to cease selling 80% lowers in the state. Had anyone heard more on this , or is there a thread already going ?

Yes. They are calling them "Ghost Guns" saying they are untraceable. They don't tell you the lowers they are built on are S/N'd that should be registered. More smoke and mirrors.
