I saw this today. It's about time. NY has been violating their citizens civil rights for over one hundred years.

NY also requires divulging all social media accounts over the past 3 years to determine the "right people" being considered for a permit. Nothing stops them from side stepping gun rights when courts smack down their infringements.

As a former NYPD Detective I can tell you the reason that they have so many parking violations is that the cops who take the M-F day tours only to write summonses so they have evenings and weekends off (not interested in an enforcement position) and the moving violations are a way to get the Captain to move you up to a detail like plain clothes. These have no bearing on the community at large.

Thank you for your work keeping the Big Apple safe, sir, enjoy a well earned retirement. Having said that, not visiting anytime soon, unless NYC recognizes AZ permits, since as an AZ DOC officer doesn't qualify me under LOESA.
