I know this company had it's issues and, from what I understand, is no longer in business but I wanted to share this in case there is some of their ammo still floating around.
About two years ago I picked up two boxes of their 180gr solid copper in .308. The first round blew the primer and was a chore to extract. After a thorough inspection and confident that the rifle was ok, I emailed OATH. Five times as a matter of fact. No reply. Bought experience is the best kind so I let it go and had forgotten all about it until I ran across the rest of the ammo today.
I decided to take them apart and see exactly what was up. The powder charge ranged, across 38 rounds, from 43.7 grains to 48.2. I was surprised that a charge of that size would even go in the case. The powder itself did not have any consistency as the grains were at least 3 different sizes and shapes. It looked like it had been swept up off the floor. The brass is PPU and it measured to SAMI spec.
The copper projectiles look great and all measured, surprisingly, to within 1/10th of a grain.
Ill reload the brass with 4064 and the 180s to see what they will do
Just beware if there is still some of this crap around.

I got some of those segmented copper slugs in the metal hulls, mostly for novelty but never tried to shoot them. Maybe a tear down is in order. Any idead how to pull a slug from a metal hull??

That one is above my pay grade. But I would be interested in what you find if you decide to take em apart

A wooden block with the correct size hole in it. Deep enough to let the slug dislodge from the hull. Used the same as your inertia hammer.

Don't put the hole all the way through, when you hear the slug rattle loose you can pour it all in a bowl.
I made my first one a through tube and was rewarded with powder and shot flung across the shop...

I'm glad to have found this thread. I have a case of 10 boxes/200 rounds of this Oath subsonic 308. Both rounds I have attempted to fire were squibs. Silly me, I thought Oath would correct the problem, but as I discovered, they're out of business and I'm screwed. How in hell does a batch of ammo go to market being so obviously defective?
