Apparently Obama is going to use a bunch of school kids as props at tomorrows press conference. These will all be children who wrote him letters about gun violence and school safety.

My question to the President would be...are these kids going to interpret the rest of the amendments for us too? Or will their letters and constitutional wisdom be applied only to my second amendment rights?

This appears to be the worst sort of political pandering to emotions that I think I've ever seen. I find it disgusting.

Such tactics just show to what depths the Left and dear leader are willing to sink to get their way and the exploitation of children is not beneath them.

Anyone who doesn't believe that this is "for all of the cookies" is fooling only themselves. Obama promised "fundamental change" and he will unveil a significant portion of that vision tomorrow (likely in the form of aggressively constructed EOs). If this angers you, as it does me, I urge you to write, to call, to e-mail, your elected representatives and tell them that you will not stand for this and that you will seek to unseat them should they support the usurpation of any part of the US Constitution including the Bill of Rights.

I note with interest that GOA wasn't invited to any of the White House meetings and that's (in my humble mind) the most credible RKBA organization in existence. Larry Pratt and Sen. H.L. Richardson run a fine organization that presents thoughtful and reasonable analysis of facts (remember those?).

No, I love my child too. And yes we can win, by pointing out that many, possibly even most, of us are also parents who dearly love their children and are completely normal.

Part of our problem is we allow ourselves to be painted as something that we are not. We are not crazy. We do not murder. We do love children. When we make this clear, the anti-gunners lose much of their power.
