Yup, one of them evil CCW permittees used his gun and everything turned out OK. Imagine that.

Concealed-gun permit holder stops would-be robber

A 27-year-old Orem man who entered a Provo Greyhound bus station Thursday and demanded money got quite a surprise. After handing the clerk a note demanding money, the clerk -- a concealed weapons permit holder -- took the robbery suspect into custody at gunpoint, Provo police say. A customer entering the Greyhound station at 124 N. 300 West called police at the clerk's request. The man was booked into the Utah County Jail on suspicion of attempted robbery and public intoxication.

But remember, they're rarely useful, and we MUST keep them out of our schools and universities!!!:cuss: :banghead:

Mistake. Now the city/county has to house and feed the guy. It would have been easier to give him a ticket to California. :)

Conviction oughta be fairly easy, what with a note and all. I notice that there is no mention of the would-be robber being armed. Not that it matters-- presumably there was an inherent threat.
