not sure where to put this. was watching an old episode of pawn stars. customer brought in a nice revolver but rick declined due to when it was made.
is getting an ffl that expensive or was rick just being cheap?

Google search- The reason the shop sticks to strictly antique guns is because they do not have a Federal Firearms License. In his book License to Pawn, Rick Harrison touches on the subject. According to Harrison, The Old Man stole a car in his youth which left him ineligible for the firearms license.

It is a ‘reality’ show.

All the ‘customers’ are pre-screened and given a script to follow; no one just walks in off the street.

Isn't it guns and replicas of guns made before 1898 that are legal to purchase without going through an ffl.
