Been on a DA/SA kick for a while. Especially with learning how to work on, polish and swap out internals on Sigs. This year has provided a P229 Legion, P220 Match Elite 10mm, Beretta 92x compact. Now it was time for a P226. I went back and forth between a MK 25 and Legion.
I already have a Legion P229 and like the way it fits my hand with the undercut and how the grip helps me not ride the slide lock. I shoot it well. I don't particularly care for the finish. The MK 25 being Nitron was looking like what would fit the bill. Only thing is the grip does not fit me as well. It would require more than swapping grips and machining the undercut, following a refinish. Not what I wanted dive off into.
I present the Legion LE Black. Nitron slide, anodized frame, and no legion markings anywhere on the gun! This thing tics all the boxes. Legion grip, optic ready. And is $75ish cheaper the cerakote gray legion. I didn't know this thing existed but now it's mine. Only thing now is there is P229 and P226 LE black legions in SAO causing my wallet to start heating up.
Just thought it was cool and wanted to share.
