Going to DAVI's indoor range - taking the New Remi 700, Ruger .45 LC, GLOCK 21, Ruger 10/22, and the Heritage 22lr/22 magnum combo. Going alone - everybody else was either working, schooling, or either to d<#> lazy to get there self out-of-bed.

Range Report

Had a great time, I went early, no crowd.

GLOCK 21 = A work in progress. Still making gains w/ the heavy trigger.

Remington 700 .270 = the old man and his bifocals = trouble seeing the front sight white dot.

I shot up about 200 rounds, divided between 22lr, 22mag, 270, .45LC and .45 acp. Had had a great time, got home safe.

Remember: Take a gril shooting, she will love you for it.

My HERITAGE .22/22mag combo

I really like mine a lot. It is a very handy gun. I take it in the boat as a snake gun, using CCI #9 shot shells in 22 mag. If you drop it overboard, oh well! - at least its not anything more.

I use it for target practice. I have developed my shooting skills on the inexpensive piece.

I paid $99.00 plus tax for mine. One bargain for what i have put it through already.

Gleaning Guns today

Ya - boy, cleaning guns today. Why did I fire so many guns yesterday. What was I thinking.

Good news, the Ruger NBH .45LC is finished. NEXT !!

The REMI 700 is finished, on the last one = a 10/22

The newest addition, a Laminated REMINGTON 700 ADL in .270 is cleaned and ready for the next round. I hope to have a scope on this gem by the next range day. This is an exceptionally accurate rifle. I have placed, on three different groupings subsequent rounds down range that have passed through the previous hole. This is one sweet rifle. I need a scope for it to get all I can from it. This will be a 'one shot deer rifle' , if I have ever had one.
