I'd like to get more info. on this old .22 rifle. I have heard about a "Chipmunk" .22 from a friend of mine and wonder if this is one of them since the gun seems to have one on the wood.
I can see that this gun is a Glenfield Model 60 and was made by the Marlin Firearms Company, North Haven Conn.
Is this gun made for adults, or more specifically for children who are just learning how to shoot?
Could the serial # help determine the manufacture date? Is this a popular/reliable gun?
Any information on this gun will be greatly appreciated!
