Old 30-06 ammo

Found this in a gunshop today, paid $10 a box. I opened one, and it’s head stamped LC 72. Should be good ammo.

Depends how it was stored.

Gonna have to find out the ol'e fashioned way, I inherited a bunch of -06 from the 50's to the 90's even WW2 tracer rounds and so far all that I have loaded up has gone bang without any hiccups

I've got over 1,400 rounds of Greek HXP .30-06 from the CMP that was vacuum packed in spam cans. It's all top shelf stuff...... Made in 1967.

Funny, it doesn't say who the manufacturer is, just that the cases are US made, and the ammo was made in the US.

Nothing else on the box, just a plain white box with the green labels on them.

I use the condition of the box to indicate the condition of the ammo. Most conditions which will damage the ammo will also
damage the box. That stuff looks OK.
