7954CEE0-F170-48CC-9E82-47E0385EF1F1.jpeg In 2012, I was out of work 14 months due to back injury. Eventually, I had to sell a few guns to make ends meet. The one I hated selling most was my Kimber Stainless Target 45 that had been massaged by the Kimber custom shop. I told the buyer my situation, and asked for first chance if he ever decided to sell it.

Last week, the gentlemen who bought it made me an offer I couldn’t refuse, and I picked it up Friday. He told me he’d never fired it in the seven years in his possession. It’s home for good....

Been there, too. Out of work for four months due to a semi pulling out in front of me on the highway. Had to sell my beloved older style Walther P99 .40 S&W in OD green. When I finally got the settlement, I couldn't find any available, so I bought a couple of M&Ps and XDs to try out and ended up keeping the M&ps.

Glad you got your buddy back!

What I wouldnt gve to get back my first handgun and revolver- a Rockford Park Police M681. Had to sell it in the dark days of '08 to feed the kids.

This is the only gun Ive ever bought twice-

A minty Astra A600 I traded for some other shiny object that caught my eye. Two months and several paychecks later, the poor Astra was still sitting in the display case unloved and unbought, so I brought it back home. Glad I did, I think Im the only person on Earth who actually likes shooting the old "pipewrench" and actually does pretty well with it. Lol.

I had to let go of a Smith & Wesson Model 27-2 N-frame revolver some years back, I bought it for $275.00 when these revolvers were going for cheap. I really wish I could find another one similar to it for a fair price.

DEB1D986-2929-4939-82D5-8630EA8F5C23.jpeg That is truly sad situation to be in. Years ago, fresh out of college, wife and new baby, I had to sell my Colt Woodsman Sport. I regretted selling that little pistol ever since. It was a true joy to shoot. A while back I found one, made in 1976, new in the box, unfired. Getting it home was like reuniting with an old friend. I haven’t shot this one much at all, I sure love to look at and handle it. I hope I never have to part with this one and my Grandson gets and enjoys it as I have.
