old marlin 94 in 32-20 with 32 inch barrel

i just got this marlin 94 in 32-20 with 32 inch barrel, is it a special order rifle? magazine is 30 inches and was not cut. serial number is 427753, i was told it was bought before ww1, and what would it be worth. its in good condition with a ex bore. here are pictures of it with my marlin 94 in 25-20. eastbank.

That is an EXTREMELY valuable rifle. Marlin offered a range of barrel lengths
as special orders with the 32" being the longest. The 30" magazine tube was the longest tube available, which explains the difference. Back in the 60's I had a Model 1893 in 32-40 with a part octagon 32" barrel and half (actually less than half) magazine, and a Model 1895TD in 38-56 with 32" barrel and full (30") magazine. Wish I had them now! The 32" guns are very rare. I'd suggest you go to Marlinowners.com and the Marlin Collectors Association website to get more input. Great find!
