What do you guys think of a lightly used Old Model Ruger Single-Six for $379? It was made in 1969, comes with both cylinders and has NOT been converted to the transfer bar system.

Thanks!

I'd buy it at that price and description in a heartbeat without asking the significant other.

I bought a excellent condition old model Single Six for 495 bucks. Came with a extra cylinder for 22 mag and a gunbelt and holster. Too bad the prior owned was a skinny little guy since the gunbelt is way too small for me. I'll just tell the Grandson stay slim. Nice thing is that the revolver has not been updated so its internals are unmolested. If the revolver you are looking at is in good condition, at 379 I jump on it like white on rice.

Well, it has a new home- Came with second cylinder in pouch, box and papers,.

The Mag cylinder has some mild peening from misadventures in dry firing, but the damage should clean-up with a fine file or dremel.

Action is very nice- something special a gun with all the right "clicks".

Pics are soon to follow... :D

Sound like you did all right with everything you got for under $400. I have one with the extra cylinder and it's one of my favorite rimfires.
