Thanks to all who replied to my request for 870 measurments earlier this week. Looks like the outside barrel dimension on a Remington 870 is much the same as an 1100 I have here. I did notice there was a significant difference between the top rib width on my Winchester 1300 pump and my 1100. Soooo...I need one more measurement I failed to mention before...
What is the width of the barrel rib? Does it stop before reaching to the muzzle end of the barrel? If so how far? I suspect it will be similar to my 1100, but I am asking because I do not own an 870. (yet!)
