Hey everybody, I'm currently deployed to Afghanistan and I've seen some guys ordering books to study for their personal trainer cert. and it got me wondering if there was such a way to be certified as a 1911/glock/whatever armorer either online or through the mail.
I've seen "certified glock armorer" on bios of a lot firearms instructors and the like and am curious as to what that really means. Certified by Glock? Or certified by whatever company gives the test.
Does anyone know of or have experience with a distance-learning armorer's course that leads to a legitimate certification?
