Currently the good guys are winning, but only barely. Given the over all political situation it is important to blow these polls out of the water. Please take a second of your time and vote.
 
How about an actual link?

Not a good idea since hotlinking can be traced back to the website you got the link from and any votes from people coming from that site can be discarded. Also it is obvious that the people at verizon are antigun some of them rabidly so. Do you want them spamming up THR?

While I appreciate the sentiment, self selecting polls are an absolute joke. I don't think it matters much.

In that case, right-click on said link, copy link, paste into new browser window.

I always right click link and copy link, then open a new tab, go to another site, usually craigslist, then paste link and go. Maybe helps, maybe not. Can't hurt...
 
I advocate tighter control at the target. :D
