Open Carry Deters Armed Robbery

Question for High-Roaders: Let's say you were carrying concealed in this situation and the scout gives the signal for "two carloads of armed robbers" to enter the restaurant.

We had a discussion on another forum and the consensus was that you grit your teeth, hand over your wallet & watch and be a good witness.

Now, let's turn that around. Say you were carrying openly but the lookout missed your gun when he did his quick once-over of the place. What do you do in that situation? Hope that they miss it again when they come around for your wallet? Hope that if they see it they deal with you gently and just take your gun?

Here's another scenario. Say you were carrying openly but you're the only one in the place open carrying and the lookout figures that he and his 5 buddies can handle you with no problem. What do you do in that situation?

The point is that no matter whether you're open carrying or concealed carrying there will be some situations that you just can't deal with. In the real world there are scenarios when you just have to grit your teeth and comply.
