opinions needed

need to have trigger work done on SA 1911A1.
I want to have a reliability package also but want to fire a few more rounds first.
so, should I live with the HEAVY trigger and get it all at once or risk the "smith not wanting to work on one with "some modifications already done"?

I'd live with it and get it all done at once.

Roundtrip shipping is expensive enough that you won't want to do it twice if you can avoid it.

Do it all at the same time, Not worth the shipping and waiting period form a good gunsmith.

How much have you shot it? Have you gotten through the "break-in" and is it shooting reliably? If so, no reason to dawdle, get it set up like you want it.
The main reason to shoot a gun before having it customized is to see if there is something you can get the company to fix before busting the warranty.

about 250 rounds- all fmj. had a feed problem early and SA polished it out some . seems to feed fine now.
