For that price you might as well buy new, especially since if you do you will be covered by their lifetime warranty. Last I checked on gun broker you can get them at least $100 cheaper for something that's been lightly used . As for reputation the USP line is as reliable (if not moreso) than any other handgun currently offered and every bit as accurate. My off duty carry is a USPc in .40 and it's yet to have a failure. It conceals surprisingly well in even a small t-shirt when in a raven ACR, but something baggier is required for OWB hip carry. The only complaint I have is that for the NIB price (which is in the neighborhood of $750) the gun should probably have a better double action trigger pull. However, that only matters if you plan on using the D.A. pull (which I don't). People like to piss and moan about customer service, but the one experience I had with H&K CS was just fine (they covered me when my firing pin broke even though they didn't have to).
