Opposition to NY SAFE ACT growing stronger and more organized

There`s a new -grass roots group is starting up in Lewis County. Patrick Morse and colleagues are fornming THE NORTH COUNTRY FRIENDS OF THE 2ND AMENDMENT. Their organizational meeting will be held at the Croghan fire hall at 7 pm ,Tuesday March 26th.
Their purpose is to form an alliance of like-minded individuals who cherish their individual and collective rights under the 2nd Amendment.
While the organizers are fron Lewis County, theyr`e inviting residents of Jefferson, St.Lawrence and Oneida counties will attend Tuesday`s meeting and become active members.
They will attend the April 13 Pro 2A Rally in Gouverneur and hope to be able to organize their own rally in Lewis County. Contact Patrick Morse at 315 317-4380.
 
The state of NY should de-annex NY City and environs. NYC would then become a territory without voting reps in Congress. :evil:

Great idea. Since 51 out of 62 counties are now on record as opposing the NY(un)SAFE Act. it`s playing out pretty much as an upstate-downstate issue.Yep ,I`m ready to divorce NYC and it seems more and more upstaters are coming around to that point of view.
That Cuomo could contemptously dismiss the the residents of 82.3 % of New York State`s counties as "paranoids" is indicates that Cuomo doth.. " crouch down and lick the hand which feeds him. May Cuomo`s chains rest lightly upon him(no, not really!) and MAY POSTERITY FORGET HE WAS OUR COUNTRYMAN!"

NYC = New York county(Manhattan), Kings(Brooklyn)Queens,Richmond(Staten Island and Bronx. That1s 5 counties in NYC proper plus 2 Long Island suburbs Nassau, Suffolk makes 7 add in Westchester makes a total 8 counties ,
Yep, 8 out of the other 11 are either NYC or its suburbs.
