I am pretty new to the whole red-dots-on-pistols thing, so I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. I just got a 10mm XDM OSP model which has a cutout for red dots, suppressor sights and a threaded barrel. I am looking around at micro dots, and I'm hearing RMR, Doctor adapter, Glock MOS etc, and hearing some are cross compatible and some arent, some include extra base plates to be compatible with different cuts, etc. So I'm kind of lost. What do I need to be looking for? What "cut" is my slide? Do optics come with adapters that will make it fit my slide? I was hoping to find something that will cowitness with the suppressor sights on the gun.
Bonus question: Anyone who could also point me toward a comp for it? Its .578x28 so I havent found a whole lot in that thread pattern. I know, I know. I already started paperwork on a suppressor, but would like to play around with a compensator in the meantime if it isnt too costly.
