I received $200 Christmas money from the inlaws. I make it a point to save windfall money, except Christmas money. They know I'm hard to buy for so this year, they were gracious to give me money.

Anyhow, I've been borrowing a front and rear rest of my fathers. I forget the brand. It is a cast aluminum front rest with elevation adjustment with leather bags that I've been using since I was a kid 30+ years ago. I'd like to find one similar with a good leather rear rest.

What does everyone suggest? Links and photos are always welcome. I'd like to not go over 150 for the total package. I don't want to have to fill my own bags or tape this or zip tie that. I want to buy it, ship it, pull it out of the box and go shoot. It must be metal and leather front and matching leather rear.

Any rests I should get and pay more for?

200 bucks won't get much more than a Caldwell Rock or Rock BR....I have a Rock and it's just ok. I don't like the Caldwell bags, especially the rear.

Protektor rear bags are hard to beat. I prefer the models with a hard bottom because they won't roll. I also prefer the bunny ears over the rabbit ears.

Looking over the Rock and the Rock BR, I'm more interested in the Rock BR. Who has one or used one and can offer their opinion. Any other brands with similar products to the rock/rock br?
