Mac, please let us know how Auto Tool World did as far as shipping time and if the knives were well packed. Thanks for being our Guinea Pig. :D

Milwaukee's red Fastback

Anyone look at Milwaukee Tools' red-scaled liner-locked belt-clipped pocket folder? It is called the Fastback.

I've looked at one and for the money it seems to be a decent knife. Made in China. Don't know how well the drop point stainless blade sharpens though, and if it keeps its edge when processing game.

Will do

The new Krylon Fusion paints work well on plastic, but remember to clean them carefully and paint right away so you get the best adhesion.

We have a spool of orange paracord that has a reflective thread woven into it. It's the berries for making lanyards for anything that you don't want to lose. I have one on my SAK in my pocket right now.
Great for keyfobs too.

Stihl "use to" sell a VERY nice German made folder with "orange" handles for 10 bucks each! When i realized they were switching to china made knives, i bought several German models!

What a GREAT knife with excellent blade steel!

DM~, if you like that knife, there are some EKAs that are similar.

I'm a bit intrigued by this guy.

I went through an orange knife "phase" a couple years ago and aquired a number of them.

I think they actually make a lot of sense as outdoor knives, as I've lost more than one black knife in the weeds after dropping it more misplacing it while camping, etc.

For those waiting with baited breath...my Mora Bahco "Carpenter" knives arrived today.

Ordered on the 11th, shipped on 14th, arrived on 16th. $100.95/15 + $8.95 shipping =$7.33/kinfe

They were packed in a cardboard display, inside a cardboard box inside an heavy duty cardboard box which had plastic packing bands around it. They are very orangyish

Knives are marked Bahco and "Stainless Steel"on one side of the blade and Sweden on the other. They easily shave paper out of the box. Looks like I'm ready to go into the hardware business.

The belt clip on the sheath looks like this... Knife and sheath weigh exactly the same as my other Mora.

The belt clip on the sheath looks like this...

That indent is for the Scandinavian "button" attachment.

Hultafors on the left, a Mora 7xx sheath on the right.

Some Moras intended for the construction market have a button integrated onto the sheath so you can stack your tools.

I usually just clip the sheath onto my pocket.
