CT had no income tax, just personal property tax

then a few years ago the pols said they would implement an income tax and eliminate personal property taxes. Well now they have both.

In NYC the Sheriffs and the city marshals ride around and run plates on parked cars looking for people that owe the city money. Then they impound the car until you pay up. Same thing only slower

Law enforcement is 90% tax enforcement.

and then tell your reps why you did.

I moved a company with 22 employees out of wisconsin because they made it impossible to do my work and make money at it. Minnesota, although not usually known as tax haven was much better to do business in.

I would move again in heartbeat to a state that would provide both clients and opportunity.
