On NPR's All Things Considered tonight, a piece was done on the lawsuit against the City of Ferguson, MO brought by the Dept. of Justice....

At the very end of the report, host Ari Shapiro quotes a DOJ letter to Ferguson that states, " ....as has long been established under law, Constitutional protection cannot be denied under grounds of cost"

So there is a supreme law of the land, and it will be applied and prosecuted by the DOJ, as long as it protects things that we (they) like. There seems no cost too high for protection of your Constitutional rights, as long as its not about guns.

(this quote is in the recorded report at the very end, right before the sign-off. It was not transcribed on the website text version"
