Wish you had one? I've never wished for the trophy but I'd sure like the abilities of this one's owner...........Creeker

Sorry Terry but that's not Mr. Keith's though I did see his once. Never thought of a contest, what about a prize?

You still coming this way in June?

what about a prize?

I was hoping you buy lunch! :neener:

Yep, it looks like the 1st of June is going to stay firm. If you phone number has changed from the Dry Creek number, could you e-mail it to me. I can give you a call when I hit Oak Hill or some such place. Or I could just stop at the house if you would prefer.

Good guess Steve but not correct. The man who owns it lived in Indiana at the time and was famous for more than just his shooting.......Lynn

Leon you are correct. Lee was the founder of the award and one of the few people able to assemble all the writers, shooters, manufactures, etc. under one roof for such an event as the first one won by Mr. Keith.

Mr. Jurras is a personal hero of mine mainly due to his work with Super Vel. The hours of work, the equipment, and testing done is amazing to a simple hillbilly such as myself.

He's also a fine gentlemen and host. The tour of his shop at Washington where he built long range rifles was just another look into the life of a man with many talents. In his 70's now he's still a fine shot with rifle or handgun. Be it Outstanding Handgunner, Rifleman, or Hunter, he still ranks with the best of the best.

Ding Ding Ding !

Winna Winna Winna !

Lee Jurras...one of the pioneers of high performance handgun ammuniton and handgun hunting

Just my .02,
LeonCarr
