P22 Suppressor Question

Ok I've been thinking about getting a suppressor for my Walther P22. The one thing that is bugging me is that all of the thread adapters I've seen have been shown on the 3.4" barrel and not the 5" barrel that I have. Does anyone know if any of the current adapters will work with the 5" model or will I have to buy the shorter barrel?

why wouldnt they work on the 5 inch barrel? same barrel end. may look a little funny w/ one and because of that I would go w/ the 3 incher.

The adapter which comes which came with my Gemtech Outback suppressor fit both a 3.5' and larger model.

The one main reason I'm wondering is the 5" model has the stupid non-moving fake comp on the end.

Take it off I kinda like the look of mine w/out the compensator.

If you scroll down a bunch and watch that movie (Walther P-22 with Gemtech Outback and a H&K USP Tactical with an ATAS-45), you can see that at least it is possible to get a suppressor on along with the fake compensator thing.

Ok RyanM now you're in trouble. After watching that video now I want a suppressor for my .45! But it is good to see that at least one type of adapter works with the long barreled P22.
