How is everyones P6 holding up? Mine is blasting away with no issues. I would like to hear some feedback from the other members who got bought the P6 as well.

Mine is doing fine. It has a little holster wear and some copper fouling that I am to lazy to get rid of. No internal wear is evident. I am pretty sure this gun will hold up for the rest of my life if I don't shoot +P or +P+ ammo in it.

Mine is great. I have only put about 150 rounds or so thru her.....but without a hiccup. I bought mine from Centerfire Systems back in January (actually go it in March) and it's been a real pleasure. The accuracy of this little gun amazed me!

Both of mine are doing just great. The slides take cold blue just fine and come out looking like new. Great guns for 300 bucks.

I use whatever is cheapest. And for the time being that is Fiocchi ammo. For the price you can't beat it, I buy it cheaper than wolf and it is brass.

Mine is running great. Have a springset and white-dot sightset that I've been holding onto waiting on the new wood grips to arrive. Grips actually came in today and I couldn't wait...put them on at my desk at work...red stained walnut and they look awesome!!! Even as purchased, it has digested everything I have fed it without any failures.

Just got some work done on mine, mainly just lightened the DA trigger pull which was horrendous when I got it, heavy and long. Now, it's about perfect. Got my P6 from AIM for about $300 out the door. An absolute steal for a pistol like this.

Mine is only a few weeks old to me, and I've only shot it once. It did great. Very accurate and reliable...my wife loved it! It didn't like my reloads, but they were pretty lightly charged loads so I'm not surprised.

I shot a mix of WWB 115gr FMJ, Blazer Aluminum, Wally World's finest Remington JHP, and 20 147gr Gold Dots. Everything went through just fine.

Like Ohio Rifleman, I'm going to get the DA lightened, but other than that it's pretty sweet. I love it!

BTW, the only thing I DON'T like about it is the fact that I've actually had thoughts of selling one of my other guns for ANOTHER Sig, haha. ;)

Mine is going great.....

Using my reloads and I might have to say...i think I shoot it more accurately
than the rest of my pistols....:).

I've shot about 500 rounds of the cheapest ammo I get my hands on and it has never had any type of malfunction. I'm probably going to buy some nice wood grips and get it refinished in stainless and get some work on the DA.

The one bought you cannot tell it was ever shot. There was not a scratch anywhere on it and the internals looked brand new. The barrel looked as if it was literally never shot. I put about 500 rounds in one session with mine and it is as accurate as any other Sig I own.

mine is working great. I took it out last weekend and put a hundred or so handloads thru it and it was a good time. It sure enough doesn't like the hollowpoints i tried though. I've got a few different brands to load up and see if they will cycle. My brother's shoots texas ranger HP's just fine. great little gun!

P6 Problems

My P6 has caused a string of problems since I got it about two months ago. The problems show no signs of abating, either.
First, it has a fondness for ammo, thus depleting my stocks of 9mm and forcing me to buy another case to take more room in the garage. Then, because of the P6 performance, there came the need for a P220 and the accompanying need for additional stores of .45ACP ammo, again in the garage. I needed a holster for the P6 because it tucks away so nicely. The credit card just took a hit from Tim at TT Gunleather for an IWB. Milt Sparks got more of my money because the bloody P6 leather meant I needed a holster for the 220. Since the Milt Sparks VMII will fit either a 220 or a 226, I had to buy a CPO P226 to amortise the VMII expense. (Also, add more 9mm ammo to the pile -- with condolences to the UPS driver). The 220's grips were a little worn, so I got a set of Houges. Then, Pachmeyer announced its special run of P6/225 grips. Again the credit card took a bruising.
I really, really need help.

Wait Pachmayer is making more grips for the P6... where did you see this? I cant find it on their website.

Also, to answer the original question. Mine is running along without a hitch, just installed a Wolff 19# spring in it. However, I have not been able to shoot it since installing that sucker. Up until now it has been great though, sweet shooter.

ETA - Found the link for the Pachmayr grips. Ohhh, these are pretty nice looking too http://www.marschalgrips.com/index.php?content=SIG-models&picture=Walnut-red-finish-P6-checkered)

Mine is running great.

I have run over it with a tractor, used it to pound nails in a shed, packed it with Gelignite and touched it off. I have frozen it, coated it in mud, stuffed a live kitten in it and it all shot.

I have used it like a boomerang to hunt wombats, have let it go through the digestive system of a wild boar and had Rosie Odonnell sit on it. It still runs.

Oh, you arent talking about my Glock? Oh, sorry. But yeah, my P6 runs great. The only thing it does not like is the really long hollow points.
