I've got one of the original models that I bought when they first came out and have had no problems.

I have a MKIV, no problems to report. Even shot my chrono sensors, ordered new ones without problems.

I think mine's the Model 1, and I've had no problems - you just have to make sure the battery's hot.

I bought one a couple of years ago and it didn't work right out of the gate. I was extremely dissapointed because I really liked it's looks and features. I took it back to cabela's.

I have a MKIV and really like it.Much easier to use than my old Chrony.

I have an old Model 1 Pact... it has served me well ... as someone said ... keep a good battery on hand.
