Interesting phenomenon.....
Got my custom High Power, now is running maybe about 2500 rounds through it...Hammer, Trigger Sear are all C&S, sear bar is original FN as is mainspring. Recoli sping is Extra power. No shock buff. Tigger was set to 4.5 pounds.
Gun has been tefloned, athough there is no teflon on hammer notch surface or on sear surface where it locks into hammer....all other surfaces tefloned..
Today when shooting three strings rather slowly it doubled twice, best as I recall on the 8 or 9th round....took it off the pistol ranged and went on to the rifle ranng and hosed off about 4 mags worth as fast as I could pull the trigger and it didnt do it again, although once the hammer followed catching in the safety notch...
Im wondering if any of you guys have had any probs with C&S HP parts? I guess now Im gonna take it apart and see what I can find, hope I dont have to replace anything get it tefloned again.....
Thinking also of taking all teflon off the entire sear...
Thoughts....
